Sinus Pain and Pressure at the Base of your Skull

February 5, 2016 by Sam 1 Comment

I did a ton of research and found some great information  trying to end my pain. I have tried everything, and I found what works and what doesn’t. I have put everything that works here in one place for you to benefit from. I am very excited about the following article because it has helped me the most.

Stop your Sinus Headache and Pain at the Base of your Skull

by Don Sims 2/20/2016

Occipital Neuralgia is a pain at the base of your skull and terrible headaches. I as I write now I feel an immense grief because day after day I can’t spend the good quality of time that me and my family needs. I am completely consumed by these terrible headaches. When I have them the world stops. Even typing this now increases the pain and misery. Many nights I lay in bed sad because another day that I could have spent making happy memories with my family is gone. I have a couple more products to try, and if I experience relief from them I will be back.

2/23/2016 Ok I’m back and I am excited to tell about my experience with the two things I ordered to help with my headaches. But, I have to start by explaining my headaches. When I get a headache it hurts at the base of my skull at the point where my skull meets the top of my neck. The pain starts there, and extends over the top of my head. It hurts on the top of my head, around my eyes. When I get a headache it hurts for at least 24 hours. I feel like I have a sinus infection, but my neck hurts. It’s seems like a strange combination. I mean are there sinus cavities in the back of your head. I read this article that says there are. I have decide to try what they recommended on that website. Here’s what I ordered.

What I ordered was doTERRA Deep Blue Essential Oil and a hot and cold gel pack. When I received them I was experiencing a sinus headache, and was very happy to hear UPS knock on my door. I dug a pot out and filled it with water. I then put 4 drops of the essential oil into the water, and got it boiling. I’m sure you have heard of breathing the steam from a boiling pot when your having sinus problems. Well this takes it to a much better level. What I felt was a cooling sensation from what I guess is the mint in the oil, and I have to say it did provide a lot of relief. My sinuses opened up and began to drain, and my headache was gone shortly after. If you want to get rid of a bad sinus infection I also recommend adding this Oil of Oregano to the pot as well. This oil of oregano is very a effective to kill infection. It is a natural antibiotic. Just poke a hole in the capsule and squeeze the oil into your pot of water.

The other thing they recommended was a hot and cold gel pack. I have a rice bag that I use now and it just isn’t very good. I am super pumped about how much better this gel pack is. I love it!

The three things they recommended for relief for less than going to the doctor

1. Flonase Allergy Relief Nasal Spray
2. doTERRA Deep Blue Essential Oil
3. Awesome Hot or Cold Gel Pack

This has always been a very successful page. When I say it was successful I speak of the hundreds of people that it has helped to end the pain at the base of their skull caused by a sinus infection and congestion.
